Executive Secretary, OLADE

Since the beginning of 2017, he has held the position of Executive Secretary of the Latin American Energy Organization, a position elected by the Meeting of Ministers of Energy of Latin America and the Caribbean for the period 2017-2020 and reelected by the Meeting of Ministers held in Lima, Peru. in November 2019 for the period 2020-2022.
Chief of the Energy Division, Inter-American Development Bank

Ariel has more than 20 years of senior management experience working in government and international organizations. Before joining the Inter-American Development Bank, he worked for the World Bank as a Senior Energy Economist. He also served as Chief Economist at PEMEX and as the General Director of Revenue Policy at the Mexican Ministry of Finance. Ariel has also taught classes at the National University of Mexico and the Mexico Institute of Technology.
Director, Energy Markets and Security, IEA

Keisuke Sadamori took up his duties as Director of the Office for Energy Markets and Security at the International Energy Agency in October 2012. Previously, he held the post of Deputy Director General for Policy Co-ordination at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in Japan. He had been involved with the IEA for a number of years as IEA Governing Board Representative for Japan and as Co-Chair of the Standing Group on Long Term Co-operation. Over the years, Mr Sadamori has served in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Japan and has co-ordinated numerous important projects, including work following the Fukushima-Daiichi accident in March 2011.
General Secretary, IGU

Mr. Bertran joined the Gas Natural Fenosa Company in 1984 working in gas plants, transportation and distribution responsibilities as well as commercial activities. In 2005 Mr. Bertran was appointed General Manager of Gas Natural Europe in Paris until 2011. Then he assumed the position as Manager Planning and Services in Retail Energy Market of Gas Natural Fenosa. In October 2014 Mr. Bertran was elected Deputy Secretary General of IGU until November 2016. Then, by the Council approval since November 2016, he was appointed Secretary General of IGU up to October 2022.
Interim Executive Secretary, ARPEL

Miguel's role in ARPEL has evolved, from participating in the development of more than 200 technical documents, many of them used in the management systems of oil and gas companies and as a reference to develop industry regulations in the Region, to being responsible for the interaction with governments and national and international organizations in the sector. Miguel will also continue to exercise the functions inherent to his current position as Upstream Director.
